• The fair is only open to children ages 6-14 on the date of the fair.
• You’ll need to answer some basic questions to help you think through your business idea:
  • What product or service do you plan to sell?
  • What price will you charge for each product/service? How much will each product/service cost you?
  • How will you pay for your startup costs? If someone is helping you with your startup costs, how will you pay that person back?
  • How will you advertise/market your business before the fair?
  • At the end of the fair, how will you determine if your business was a success?

Once you’ve been accepted, your booth is reserved at the fair, so you can get to work thinking of a business name, developing your brand, and creating your product.

Leading up to the day of the Business Fair, think about how you’re going to attract customers who might buy your product. Tell your friends, share it on Facebook, and ask your family to come. 

On the day of the fair, come prepared to sell to real customers for real money. Sharpen your pitch, and think about how you’re going to present your product in the most attractive way. You get to keep everything you earn!

We will be awarding 6 cash prizes to the best businesses. In order to have the best chances of winning a cash prize, come up with a creative business idea, think about your business’ overall potential, and present your product in an attractive way!
